Dedicated infrastructure for specific requirements
A dedicated server allocates a physical server to one customer or workload. It may be suitable for high-resource applications, specialised software, larger databases or organisations that need particular configuration choices. It is not automatically the best option for every website; resource requirements and operational responsibilities should guide the decision.
Plan the server around the workload
- Estimate processor, memory, storage and I/O needs.
- Choose an operating system and control panel appropriate to the application.
- Confirm bandwidth, network protections and remote management options.
- Define patching, monitoring, backup and disaster-recovery responsibilities.
- Check support coverage, hardware replacement terms and service-level commitments.
- Plan scaling, redundancy and maintenance windows.
Share your application type, resource estimates, software stack and support expectations to request a suitable proposal. Hardware configurations and service levels should be confirmed in writing before ordering.
